House fires can be devastating and cause a lot of damage. On this occasion, the loss was compounded by the fact that many family photos and heirlooms from the home were destroyed. These kinds of items cannot be replaced at any price, as we know – but it provides some comfort to the family when we were able to introduce some specialist cleaners that managed to restore the majority of these items. 

We assisted, organising Alternative Accomodation for the family and negotiated a fantastic settlement of over €90,000. The couple and their family were delighted with the outcome and the service provided.

Our services are free to clients who use the services of the surveyors and building contractors we introduce them to. The contractors will be paid by your insurer as part of your claim, and in turn, pay us a management fee for running the network and organising the whole project…

What will my insurance company think if I appoint my own Loss Assessor?

There is no reason why your insurance company or Loss Adjuster should discourage you from appointing your own Loss Assessor to manage your fire insurance claim. If your Loss Adjuster is trying to dissuade you from using our services, you should question why they are against the idea of you being equally represented. After all, a Loss Assessor can only help a policyholder claim for what is legally within their insurance contract
